01 · the mark
two slabs, one grid.
the mark is two shapes that hook into each other. the top one curls like the arch of an a. the bottom one is the same shape flipped upside down, and it becomes the tail of an e. when the mark is big, the tail breaks up into dots: the same dots you’ll find all over this site, in the footer, and in the little video you get when you share the link.
02 · the type
triangles, and hearts for emphasis.
æstudio
the headlines are set in geist serif (we love geist), in a version where every dot (on an i, a j, a full stop) is a little triangle. there’s no bold and no italic. when a word needs to stand out, its dots turn into hearts instead. that’s the only trick it gets.
